Does anyone have any hillarious pick up lines to share? I find it humorous how many people come up to me with corny lines, just because I'm tall.

The best one I've recieved came from this adorable guy who was about 5'6". He looked up at me with adoring eyes, grabbed my hand as I walked by and said, "You would totally be worth the climb!" tee hee

I love the whole, "Do you play basketball" one too. Because there are so many good replies. The usual is "Yes, I do. Do you play minigolf..." but you have to admit, you must be careful who you use that on. Some people might get offended. Though sometimes I throw in a reference to the fact that I'm not discussing the size of their "putter" just to see the response!!! haha

Let me know your experiences! I find them fun to share :)

you do realize that not feelinf "feminine" has nothing to do with your date's height, but your own perception. An emotionally stable and confident man can make any woman feel feminine, sexy, and beautiful. All he has to do is realize that she really is, and she will to.

here's the thing...., as a women of almost 5'11 I do not feel feminine feeling when your boyfriend puts his head on your shoulder while slow dancing. Nor is it comfortable when he cuddles up to you while watching a movie. I want to be a partner and girlfriend not a mommy.

i like being asked if i model. to which i reply, i should because it would pay better than the job i do now. mostly, it's the 'do you play b'ball?', to which i answer depending on my mood. i'm usually polite, but i rember one time i responded back with 'do you sumo wrestle?' it was funny. the guy just didn't know how to respond bec i think he wasn't asking genuinely, but was 'trying' to be funny.

I use the old Tiny Tim line when at a bar, especially with people drinking excessively. When asked how tall I am, I reply "I'm 5'19" It's amazing how many will say "Well, I'm 5'6 and you are taller than me!" to which I'll usually reply "You caught me! I'm 4'31" It's amazing how with about 1/2 of all people even in a sober environment are so thoroughly confused.

A bit off color but...I used to play football (american) and I had a friend the same height who was heavier than me and who went on the NFL after college. When women would see him and say "Damn, you're big!" he'd always reply "Thanks. I'm big all over." A few didn't understand that response, either.

:-O

I was approached by a short guy in a bar who asked me how tall I was, and when I answered, he said "Well honey, it's all the same in bed" and I said "no it's not because size does matter!"
He was obviously offended and walked away with his tail between his legs!

i appreciated this one while at work,

"those long legs could walk themselves all the way to my house,...in arizona?"

he said this right before making an inappropriate gesture with his credit card and the credit card machine.

shocked? yes. grossed out? strangely no.

I guess when you're our height, they're probably dull and boring to most... but I like them. They're not lines that they use on every girl who walks by...and alot of the ones commenting are sincerely attracted and/or want to talk to you. I have heard many times about how beautiful my smile is, or how wonderful my eyes are...and maybe those eventually become mundane as well. I take each word to heart, whether it's about my height or some other feature. I figure they are anything but "patronizing". Again, as I keep repeating myself...I think it's just a way for them to make contact. Yes, they may not be the most inventive pick up lines, but atleast they're putting themselves out there.

I wasn't talking about the gawking looks, or the "dull, boring, and silly" comments about our height. I'm talking about the sincere lines that some people use to compliment us on our unique selves. When I get a comment on my legs that "go on forever" or the way I walk like a model I realize how lucky I am to be tall. Alot of my shorter girlfriends could walk by without a single guy noticing...but I never leave a place without a good laugh at the ones "impressed" with my height and stature. You just have to look for the humor in life sometimes.

Oh, I forgot my favorite pick up line ever... it has nothing to do with height, but it made me laugh. A guy walked up to me a few weeks ago and asked, "Do you know how much polar bears weigh??" To which I replied...no... with a funny frown on my face. What is this guy talking about? lol He answered his question with, "Enough to break the ice! Hi, I'm Bob" hahaha It was kind of cute :)

Yes, I get asked all the time, about how tall i am, and, if i played basketball. I say yes, sandlot, baseball, ice skate, roller skate, and, sometimes I ask if they are a jockey. With all of the immigrants here, about 5 feet tall, I really feel like an odd giant. Working with a bunch of five footers does tend to make me feel odd, or is it, they are odd?
